St Mary’s training and events
The St. Mary’s Sexual Assault Referral Centre provides a comprehensive, tailored and fully accredited programme of training and education in the field of rape and sexual assault.
As the first SARC to be established in the country, St Mary’s has led the field in sharing good practice and seeking to raise standards of care for victims of rape and sexual assault. The Centre’s extensive knowledge and understanding in helping and supporting men, women and children means that it can offer valuable insights to those working within the sexual assault community.
Training and events include An Introductory Course to St Mary’s SARC, The Forensic and Medical Examination for Rape and Sexual Assault (FMERSA) course, medico-legal training looking specifically at providing healthcare professionals with courtroom skills as well as our Annual Conference.
